Project Terms, QA & Payout Guidelines
Please review our operational terms before submitting your profile. Sarafina Marketing Solutions operates with complete transparency regarding workflows, contract terms, performance expectations, and client payment schedules.
Contract & Deliverable-Based Compensation
Deliverable-Based Payouts: We do not pay fixed hourly wages or flat per-task fees for AI projects. All assignments are compensated strictly based on the volume of quality-verified output you produce (measured per Effective Hour or approved unit dataset).
Formal Project Agreements: Independent Contractor Agreements (ICAs) are issued for every assigned project, detailing precise directives, rate breakdowns per Effective Hour, and delivery standards.
Secondary Income Focus: These opportunities are flexible, part-time freelance projects designed to earn supplemental income, not full-time employment.
Quality Assurance (QA) & Effective Hours Explained
Effective Hour Metric: For Transcription, Annotation, and Recording projects, payouts are calculated per Effective Hour (e.g., Effective Audio Hour / EAH) that successfully passes client QA. An Effective Hour represents approved, speech-segmented source data—not total clock hours spent working.
Time Expectations: As an industry benchmark, converting 1 Effective Audio Hour of transcription typically requires 4 clock hours of active transcription and self-editing for slow typers or beginners.
Work Schedule: While schedules remain flexible, contractors are expected to commit a minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 days per week during active project phases, aligned with your declared availability. You are welcome to dedicate additional hours beyond this baseline to maximize your project contributions and earnings.
Client Review & Payment Schedules
Disbursement Timeline: In alignment with global enterprise data collection standards, payouts are issued 45, 60, or 90 days following client submission, formal QA review, and receipt of the finalized client Payment Summary notice for invoice processing.
